Welcome to Mrs. Amanda's Class!
Early Childhood Special Education
Room 17, Hallway C
Meet Mrs. Amanda!
I absolutely love teaching little ones! I have a Master's Degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education. I also have certification in Early Childhood Special Education(ECSE) and Autism Education.
This is my sixth year teaching in Sikeston. I live in Jackson- the drive here is long but definitely worth it! I wouldn't drive this far for any other job! I have been married for 7 years to my husband Jared and we have a dog named Piper and a 1 year old son named Grayson. We love to barbeque, watch movies, and watch baseball and football. I also enjoy reading, country music, swimming, shopping, camping, and CHOCOLATE!
The best way to contact me at school and home is through e-mail:
You may also call during school hours: 573-471-0653
Thank you for allowing me to teach your little one!
This is what our classroom looks like!
It’s a Dr. Seuss Room!
My assistant and I will do our very best to make the students in this room feel welcome, confident, intelligent, and loved so that they are successful in school and beyond!
Each student may have different individual goals but our goal as a school and class is to always be a Sikeston PUP- Polite, Understanding and make good choices, and Play and work safely.
