Currently I am the Principal and have been in this position for 13 years.  I started teaching in 1996 in Sikeston.  I taught 7^th grade Social Studies and did Parents as Teachers.  During my time teaching I was the Coach for high school girl’s softball as the assistant for four years and as the head coach for four years. I am currently beginning my 21^st year with the district. 

I live in Sikeston with my fun and loving cat Friday.  She is into everything in my house.  I rescued her as a kitten on a Friday at the Kindergarten Center.  I have a School Building full of children that I love each day.  

Coaching was a big influence on my decision to be a principal.  Also I learned many managerial skills from working with McDonald’s for 15 years as a manager.  My hobbies are listening to music, watching movies, riding bikes and exercising.  When I am not working I like to listen to music, work out at the YMCA and shopping.
