I was hired by the Sikeston School District in 2003 as a Kindergarten teacher. In 2008 I was hired as the assistant principal/academic leader for the Sikeston Kindergarten and Early Childhood Center. I am currently starting my 13th year in the district.
I have been married for 7 years to Clayton Carbaugh. Clayton is my number one fan as he has supported and continues to support me inmy career of education. We have one daughter that is 6 years old and will be in Kindergarten this school year. We are currently expecting our second daughter in October. My daughter teaches us both what life is all about. She is the drive to my success as a leader, educator, mom and wife.
In my spare time (if I can find any) I like to read books not related to my job or education. My favorite time is spent with my immediate family. We love to do things together.
