I attended Sikeston Senior High School and graduated in 1992. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1997 with a degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Management. I worked at a major retail company for approximately 18 years. I then choose to pursue my passion for teaching in recent years. I gained my dual Missouri Teaching Certification three years ago through Hannibal La-Grange University. I am certified to teach both Early Childhood and Elementary levels. I have continued my professional development and gained additional graduate hours through Sounthwest Baptist University over the past year and I plan to start my Masters in August of this year.

Although most of my free time is taken up with family adventures, I do enjoy some hobbies such as traveling, photography and crafting. When I am not teaching I love relaxing and hanging out with friends and family. I truely enjoy my down time when I can squeeze it in.
